it is with deep sadness that we share the news of the unexpected passing of Michael A. Provost, our past president and a cherished resident of Newmarket. He passed away on December 4th, 2025 at York Hospital. His involvement with the Newmarket 300 program, the Newmarket Historical Society, and numerous other organizations and committees showcased a deep, enduring love for his hometown. Michael’s spirit of love, dedication, and service will continue to inspire us all.
